Lessons Learned From Gran Torino
Gran Torino is a classic car. A lot of people especially the collectors of vintage cars would like to add this on their garage. I bet most drivers dream to drive this car even just for once in their lifetime.

"Get off my lawn!"
Last night, a number of movie bloggers were invited at the Philippine movie premiere of Gran Torino Starring Clint Eastwood.
I admit that I would rather watch Filipino movies rather than watch the films made in Hollywood. I only heard of the name Clint Eastwood when a friend of mine made me listen to the song by Gorillaz. My grandfather is also a big fan of Clint Eastwood. He said he admired him as an actor and director. I remember him asking me to look for Letters from Iwo Jima in a VCD store.
When I went at the screening, I didn’t have any idea on what the film is all about. I bet most people would think of fast cars and stuff when they hear the title, but the film is more than a car story. It is a story that teaches us how to drive our own life – the struggles, life, death, forgiveness and all that drama.
I don’t want to post some spoilers, but I would like to share some of the lessons I learned from the movie. That way, maybe that can help persuade you to spend your Php150 watching a movie that is worth your time and money.
Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman in Australia
Exactly a week ago, I was invited together with Sarah, Carl, Joriben and Mark to watch the special screening of the movie Australia.
I’ve seen the trailer when I was watching an MMFF movie last year and I was interested on what the movie was all about. I am happy upon seeing Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman, two of the most popular Australian Hollywood actors together in this movie.
