Night Swimming on the 31st of July

I had a pretty hectic Saturday last weekend. I attended the press launch of Department of Tourism’s (DOT) at Manila Ocean Park with fellow travel bloggers. After the press launch and late lunch, Eric, Prince, Winston and I went around and play around like little kids inside the venue.

I was more excited for the get-together that night since the Nyoks planned a simple dinner for the one and only Batang Yagit. I went straight at our condo while he went straight to Hidalgo to buy a birthday gift for himself (Lens naman.. buti na lang at hindi na gadget!). While he’s busy scouting for the best present, we were quite busy… waiting for him LOL.

Nuffnang PH’s Rockeoke Night with Tim and Ming!

Thank God It’s Monday! I was invited by my friends from NuffnangPH to meet Tim and Ming, the young founders of Nuffnang, the leading blog advertising network in Asia! Since most of the Nuffies are Rockeoke regulars at Mag:Net High Street on Mondays (paging Kel, Carlos and Judd!), no wonder they decided to make the first night of Tim and Ming in the Philippines extra special by letting them act like a rockstar even just for a night.

Carlos The Rakista

How do Nuffies do the Rock 'n Roll? Let Carlos teach you lah..

I went there at 10PM (Failed to drink Margarita with them at Agave – Boo!) and as expected, everyone is ready with their song. I will simply present a photostory for you to have an idea on what happened that Nuffy Monday :P

On The Red Shoes, Shabu-Shabu and Donuts

Thank God It’s Friday! Aside from I have no work on Fridays, it is also the day wherein I am able to meet-up with some of my friends or have some ‘me’ time. Last Friday was extra special because of the following reasons: 1.) I am one of the first to see Unitel Pictures’ The Red Shoes 2.) Late Gloria Maris Shabu-Shabu Dinner 3.) Project52Weeks completion at Krispy Kreme.

Nuffnang Bloggers at the Frontrow

Nuffnang Philippines gave me an exclusive pass to the Media screening of Unitel Pictures’ The Red Shoes. If you are a regular reader of my blog, most probably you’ve seen the advertisement with the faces of Marvin Agustin and Nikki Gil on it. To be honest, I first find the Marvin-Nikki tandem very dull. Maybe it is because I never really pictured them to be a loveteam in a movie or tv series or yeah, the Kapuso-Kapamilya thingy too LOL.

So initially, you will only see The Red Shoes in the trailer and movie poster. I thought the movie will focus more on Imelda Marcos’ addiction with shoes (Mas sikat pa nga si Imelda Marcos kaysa sa Pilipinas! – Tessie Tomas, The Red Shoes). If you are a devotee of the 1986 People Power Revolution, i’m sure that you will enjoy this film. But wait, the story doesn’t really revolve there.

Luna Bar & Resto – The Newest Gimik Place in Greenhills!

My most-loved area in Metro Manila is Greenhills. Why? Aside from the fact that it is a perfect place for shopping to Tiangge lovers, there’s a number of malls, restaurants, coffee shops and gimik places there. It is also located in the middle of the North and South part and yeah, I live in this area :P

Luna Bar and Resto - The Newest Gimik Place in Greenhills!

The only thing that I noticed in Greenhills is that there is a limited number of nightlife places. Most of the establishments here closes at around 1am that’s why I have no choice but to go home by that time.
Last January 16, I attended the first-ever event my friend Hannah organized! Together with Vince of WhenInManila.com, they organized the Grand Launch Party for Luna Bar & Restaurant, the newest gimik place in Greenhills!

The Lounge Soft Opening – Time to Move On and Party!

I had a blast last Saturday night because I got invited at the soft launch of The Lounge, the newest chillax place found at 2nd Floor Bellagio Square, Corner Scout Fuentebella St., Tomas Morato, Quezon City. It is located at the same building as Ratsky’s and Coffee Bean Tea Leaf. The Lounge is co-owned by Hayden Kho so expect the place to have no vandals, just scandals. Nah, of course I’m kidding :P

Hayden Kho did the honors of giving a short background on The Lounge and introduced his business partners. Cristine Reyes, whom I haven’t seen for so long, graced the Ribbon Cutting ceremony. I smiled when she recognized me. I thought she’d only remember me by name :P

More photos and information after the jump.
