Plato Wraps at Franchise Expo 2011 – Endless Business Possibilities
Lately, I’ve been reading the past issues of Entrepreneur Philippines. I was able to collect some copies through relatives and since I am now thinking of ways on how to generate income, the concept of setting up a business caught my interest. Too bad no one in the immediate family owns a business since they’d rather be employed in a multi-national company for financial security. I can’t blame them. Starting and running a business is not a game that children play. It is risky and only the tough ones can handle it.
I went to SMX Convention Center last Saturday to attend the Franchise Expo 2011. It is my first time to witness such event where companies that encourages individuals to invest their money through Franchising. If I am not mistaken, the Philippines is the Franchise Hub of Asia and it is not only beneficial to the founders of the concepts, but it also paved way for our kababayans to be employed in a long run.
One of the most trusted Franchise Food Carts in the country is PLATO WRAPS and I am proud to say that it originated from Dagupan City, Pangasinan. Actually, the owners Mr. Tony Seen and Mrs. Kamela Crisologo Seen were our neighbors when I was still a little kid. I am friends with their children and we used to really play a lot after school. We’d pretend to be restaurant owners or musical performers much to the delight of our young parents hehe =P
San Marino Corned Tuna
Three months ago, I saw some teasers of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera at GMA-7 where they are in the beach chasing each other and showing their love as if its their last day together on earth. The viewers originally thought that the two will reunite in a movie or in a certain tv show. It turned out that the two are the newest endorsers of San Marino Corned Tuna products.

Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera in a new telenovela… NOT!
I am not a lover of Tuna products, but everything changed when I was invited at the bloggers launch of San Marino Corned Tuna last month. Not only am I impressed with their marketing strategy, but hey, the product is worth trying!
First Time in Cebu Day 3: Grand Kembot Day!

August 9 is Grand Kembot Day!
Spontaneous - > The perfect adjective to describe my third day in Cebu City with the Kemboteras.
We originally planned of going to Carcar and Talisay that Sunday. ‘Bohol’ also popped out in one of our conversations. With no final decision on how we should spend the next day, we ended up saying ‘Bahala na’ before going to sleep.
As expected, the four of us woke up late =P Thanks to Sinjin for waking us up at our hotel room. We ate our late breakfast while taking turns in using the bathroom. We canceled our out of town plans and decided to just eat lunch at the famous Abuhan Dos, where the famous Pochero is found.
A Saturday Full of Hotdogs, Shabu-Shabu and Iced Mocha
TGIS! Thank God It’s Saturday! Nah, I’m not talking about the teen-oriented show shown years ago Starring Angelu de Leon and Bobby Andrews as Peachy and Wacks. I am pertaining to the lovely Saturday I just had. I can say that I had a Patay Gutom Saturday after going to the 7-11 Bite Match Event, Mini Shabu-Shabu for Dinner and Krispy Kreme Greenhills for Dessert.

Why should you choose this hotdog over your boyfriend?
Though I only managed to sleep for thirty minutes, a lot of things happened and a very busy day is ahead of me. I tried to sleep at 10am and I managed to get up at10:30am since the 7-11 Bite Match event will start at 11am. I am surprised to see my grandfather on my way to the bathroom when I woke up LOL. I didn’t know that the grannies are here in the city to attend a Golden wedding anniversary. Awkward Moment
After doing the *bibihis na ako at didiretso na ako ng rockwell kahit basa pa ang buhok ko at may muta pa ako*routine, I finally arrived at the venue and surprised to see a hotdog talking about why girls should choose hotdogs over their boyfriends. Hmmmm…
