DVD Player Hunting at OLX
Here’s another fact about me: I am a lazy shopper. Unlike most girls who would spend hours looking for a specific clothing or accessories in the mall and still enjoy it, I am the opposite. I may be a mall person, but I usually hangout there with friends in a restaurant or coffee shop. I don’t really spend my time in the department store of shopping stores not unless I really need to.

OLX Sample Classified Ads Search Results
Buying appliances or gadgets is no exemption. I remember when I bought my camera, I went to the store upon seeing an ad in a BPO Magazine. I went to the store with my friends and I think I only spent a few minutes there. I originally planned to buy a DVD player, but pft, I can’t really contain the large amount of buyers that day so I decided to just eat somewhere
Farewell to you, Geocities
Ten years ago, my cousin opened my eyes in the world of internet. I remember having SpiceGirls.com as the first website that I ever went to. Later on, I learned that I can search for pictures and information via search engines like Yahoo, MSN, Altavista among others. I am truly amazed on how a scanner works. I even compared it into a xerox machine only that the printout will be in the monitor. As a big fan of the Spice Girls, I wanted to make my own fansite for them.

Starting today, Geocities is already a part of web history
The problem is, I don’t have enough money for the hosting and I am completely clueless on how to buy domains and how to find a good host. Thank God there were free webhosting places around like AngelFire and Tripod. What annoyed me was the pop-up ads. I needed to look for a better host and tenen… GEOCITIES came in the picture!
Reality Wedding by Buddy Gancenia

I remember the first time I met Buddy Gancenia, a famous Filipino wedding videographer during his short lecture on video editing at Discovery Suites. He showed to us some of his sample works and my, I am really impressed! I even joked around that if ever I’ll get married with my prince charming someday, I want him to do the memorable event.
I got the chance to work with him early this year for my first ever short film. I know that he is best known by his clients and by bloggers because of his wedding videography works, but I can say that he can soon venture into other means of video coverage. Sir Buddy is also easy to work with – he is quiet but he is also strict. He can perfectly embody a professional wedding videographer – I swear!
My Picks for the Emerging Influential Blogs of 2009
August 11, 2008 is a memorable date for me. Missing Carlo, my blog dedicated to my one and only special brother, was recognized as one of the Ten Emerging Influential Blogs of 2008. Though the said list was then dominated by group blogs with different niches, I was able to make it on the list. I think blogging about something that is close to your heart makes a difference. I noticed that majority of the bloggers who voted for me are mothers and siblings of special children. Up to this day, I am still receiving some emails and comments from the readers whom in a way, was touched with my lovestory with Carlo.
Now, it’s about time to recognize a bunch of new blogs for the Emerging Influential Blogs of 2009! I would like to congratulate Tita Janette and the Digital Filipino Club as this writing project is already on its 3rd year.
So who made it on my list? Read on.
