The Music of Alessandra de Rossi

Fil-Italian actress Alessandra de Rossi doesn’t need to prove herself in terms of acting. With a number of Best Actress & Best Supporting Actress awards and nominations under her belt, she is truly one of the most versatile performers in the Philippine showbiz industry. She is one of the few stars who can do mainstream and independent films at the same time. You always see her on TV either making the life of the protagonist as miserable as hell or she’ll make her life with her badet antics.

She is also a well-loved personality on Twitter (@msderossi) together with her Yaya. I guess the tag ‘Babaeng Bakla’ perfectly suits her. Playing the role of the street smart Bernadette in Legacy, it seems like she was able to pull of an antagonist role yet instead of despising her wrongdoings, you just can’t help but laugh and be endeared with her charm.

Anyway, did you know that Alessandra de Rossi is also a singer/composer?

On Turning 25 and Other Concerns

I am suffering from mild headache as I type this entry here in my ‘office’. I slept at 3AM, woke up at 12noon for lunch with my grandparents and went back to bed at 2PM. My supposed short nap was extended to four hours. I think oversleeping is the cause of this sudden headache of mine. I thought that a Jollibee meal and a dose of my favorite Iced Mocha can cure me. I guess I’m wrong.

Smooth-sailing at 25.Â

Heavy rain. I want to buy medicine, but the rain is making me lazy. I just finished a Mother’s Day post and the fact that I have a lot of travel-related backlogs makes me want to hit my head on the wall. How can I not blog about these wonderful memories from the past months?

Now that I am stuck here, I will just write and write and write whatever hits my head.

Before I Turn 25

It’s 10:40PM and I am seated at the top bunk of a dorm room with my travel buddies waiting for the time when I will officially turn 25.

Yikes. I am about to turn a year older and to be honest, I am just thankful with all the blessings. I want to write a very serious blog post now, but I just can’t especially with the fact that I am surrounded by my fun-loving friends.

Anyway, I am here right now in Davao City – a place I consider special. I am a participant for the Davao Food Appreciation Tour (now on my 3rd consecutive year!) and I just arrived early morning today. While we were at the Agong House by Kublai Millan in Kapatagan this afternoon, I took some pictures and sat down while looking at the scenery. I remember my trips on the previous months – Ilocos Norte, Bangkok, Siem Reap, Chiang Mai, Bohol, Siquijor and South Korea. I met some wonderful people along my journey and learned a lot from it. There are some instances that reminds me of things ‘lacking’ in my life or shows some of the responsibilities I need to face in the future particularly in the family and career aspect.
