Good news to newbie bloggers out there! Our friends from UP College of Law and Digital Filipino will once again organize the biggest Philippine Blogging Summit if the year!

Now on it’s sixth year, iBlog6 is set to take place on April 16 and 17 at the UP Malcolm Theatre, UP College of Law, UP Diliman, Quezon City. I started attending the blogging summit in 2007 and through this educational event, I met a lot of bloggers who eventually became my friends. If you want to meet your favorite blogger or learn more about blogging, I will push you to register and attend. Besides, the REGISTRATION IS FREE!

Last Minute Decision: I’ll Go Surfing in La Union!

Due to the insistent demand of my blogger friends, I’ve decided to join the Let’s Go Surfing event by LetsGoSago.net. This is the first anniversary project of my dear friend Jonel Uy. Some of the proceeds will go to a charity. The two-day event will take place on August 15-16 (later!) at the Billabong Surf School and San Juan Surf Resort in Urbiztondo Beach in San Juan, La Union. I need to unwind a bit so I’m joining weeee 🙂

iBlog5: The Philippine Blogging Summit Aftermath

Just last month, i wrote a blog entry about my experience as a participant at iBlog3 and iBlog4. It was through the blogging summit where i met other bloggers and at the same time learn from the speakers.

Last Saturday, AJ and I gave a talk on the Basics of Blogging or simply Blogging 101. Ms. Janette asked me if I wanted to speak for the newbies. I was a bit worried since err… I have a slight phobia on speaking onstage. I then realized that this is a perfect chance for me to overcome that fear and at the same time share my  ideas on blogging.
