I’ve blogged about Solenn Heussaff a couple of times. I just love this girl!
Just two months ago, the French-Filipina celebrity launched her sophomore album entitled ‘SOS’ or ‘Sinner Or Saint’. Her first album was a success. I was even invited on the music video shoot for the song ‘Our First Time’. Her kindness and jolly personality stuck on my mind. Who wouldn’t want to support her anyway?
I bought a digital copy of SOS via iTunes. I listened to the preview snippets and I loved it!
SOS contains 10 original tracks and 2 revivals. Boy band fanatics have the reason to dance with her own version of Backstreet Boys’ “All I Have to Gove” and Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River”.
The carrier single from the album is entitled “Diva”. It is a tagalog song about a female celebrity who acts as if she’s the most important woman in the world. The music video is quite queer and colorful! Another song with a twist is “Never Met a Man”, which Solenn co-wrote.
When you look at Solenn Heussaff, you simply want to go out there and party. Her second album features dance and trance tracks like Chasing The Sun, Stereo Love, Is This Love, Love Flow Down and Turn You Love Around. I imagine myself partying in Boracay, Palawan or Cebu when I heard these tracks!
She also collaborated with other artists for the songs Hip-notize (with KlumCee), Diva (with Ron Henley) and Until The Sunrise (with The Morning Episodes).
I recommend this album to those who wants to chill and have a good time! I hope her upcoming single will be shot in some of the best Philippine destinations. That would be great! I do think this SOS can also attract fans abroad if the record label decides to release it abroad.
Aside from her music ventures, Solenn is also busy with the GMA teleserye “Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas” with Lovi Poe and her new movie “Status: It’s Complicated” will be shown in cinemas nationwide starting November 6. You can download SOS by Solenn Heussaff via iTunes.
