There’s something about #13 that makes me feel excited eversince I was a kid. I remember my nanny telling me that Friday the 13th is a day of badluck. Ironically, Friday the 13th has always been a good day for me.

Just like yesterday.

I woke up from a very inspiring dream wherein I almost fell at the bed because I thought my dream of rolling from a hilltop with a special someone is true (just kidding LOL!). Seriously, I almost fell from the bed because of a very sweet dream. What is the dream all about? It’s all about my dreamboy. You’re not interested to hear my story? Ok, i’ll stop now. 😛

I usually wake up from bed at around 11:30am to eat my brunch, take a bath, put work clothes on and off to the MRT station. Since Friday is my rest day, I went to the bank to deposit money to a friend’s account. I decided to passby the bank first before going to Hotel Intercontinental for The 3rd Digital Filipino Web Awards wherein our foodblog, Patay Gutom won at the Food Category. I also got free tickets for the movie screening of 2012 courtesy of TV 5.

After the bank scene, I tried to ride a cab. Too bad the cab drivers are too choosy and the traffic is so jam-packed, though I suppose I’ve got to hand it to anyone getting flights via Fly.com into the area for the awards ceremony. With my high-heeled shoes, I walked all the way from Virra Mall to MRT Santolan-Annapolis station. While walking, it rained really hard. Tsktsk. Instead of feeling discouraged, I ran to the MRT station even if i looked like a music video girl for an Aegis song.

So there. The MRT is jam-packed too! Oh yeah, its Payday Friday. When I arrived at the MRT Ayala Station, I went straight to Hotel Intercon Ballroom Hall and as expected, I was late 😛 I saw Hannah, Jehz, Vince and the rest of the bloggers/webmasters who received an award. Obviously, this year’s awarding ceremony is much, much better compared to the previous years. I smiled when I saw Hannah holding her plaque. It’s so nice! Jehz liked his awards so much that he ended up taking macro shots at the side using his new gadget.

We went straight to Burger King at Glorietta to wait for Ada. Eating burgers together just felt like we’re in Singapore again LOL. We went to G4 Cinema 1 at 7:30pm to watch 2012 courtesy of TV5. Thank you TV5 especially to Myk Cruz.

I liked the movie. I love the family-related scenes. Someone slept at the first part of the movie and someone kept her eyes glued on the screen when the Russian pilot appeared. Someone kept on closing her eyes at the last part and kept asking her seat mate ‘Anong nangyari? Namatay ba?‘ hehehe 😀 The story is pretty predictable, but the scenes are just breathtaking. Whew.

We managed to talk to other bloggers after the movie screening. We all went straight home with big smiles on our faces. =)
