Sometime last month, Jeff a.k.a. Singing Blogger and I recorded a song together. Well, we were not really together inside a room, but I was able to record my vocals and I sent it to him through ym. He did the editing stuff and viola! we have our own version of Careless Whisper!
When the song was “released” online, a lot of people were wondering if we met up prior to that recording. Just saw him twice (Tv5 Videoke and Ipanema) and we only managed to say hi and hello. I am really a fan of his eversince I heard his version of Angels so there 😛
Thanks to Pinoy Popcast, Jeff and I finally met up last week and recorded a song together!
Thanks to Pinoy Popcast for inviting us as their special guest for the second episode. Jonel invited me to be a part of the show and I thought it is the chance for us to actually sing the song together. I met up with Ed and Jeff at Glorietta after a very tiring day at work. I finally meet Pocholo Gonzales of CreatiVoices. He is a very nice guy. Jeff and I were thrilled when he showed the booth to us 😀
Red Ribbon's Salisbury Steak
We ate the very delicious Salisbury Beef and Cookies and Cream cake courtesy of Red Ribbon. Yumyumyum! 😀 Azrael arrived a bit later and Carl followed. We started recording for the show at around 10pm and some of our blogger friends were already online.
Pocholo, Azrael and DJ Angel served as the hosts that night. The regulars Ed, Carl and Jonel gave their blog updates. Jeff and I were interviewed about making money online, the duet and our personal blogs.
The finale of the show is our live performance of Careless Whisper. We never practiced and obviously, I was nervous 😐 I am happy with the feedback though 😀

All in all, it was a happy night. Nice place, great companionship, good audience participation and yummy foodie from Red Ribbon! I would love to do a similar show again and if possible, i would love to try out recording a song at the booth hehehehe 😀
