December is the month when Jesus Christ was born. December is the month where students get their much needed break from school. December is the month of the year where are lot of people give and receive gifts and praises. December is the month where blah blah eklavu chenes chenes 😀
As I type this entry, there is a small christmas tree infront of me. I remember when I was a little girl, I was fascinated with Christmas lights and Christmas trees. My parents would laugh at me whenever we pass by the streets of Manila and I say “Wow! Ilaw Ilaw!” to show my appreciation with the colorful christmas lights. I used to demand that I’ll be the one to put the big star at the top of the Christmas tree no matter how tall it is.
As years passed by, the christmas tree in our house got smaller and smaller. Why? Hmmm… the big, old christmas tree was broken due to the typhoon way back in 1998 so there. We managed to buy and maintain a smaller one.
Did your parents also fooled you about Santa Clause? Well, I belong to the group! I just can’t help but laugh whenever I remember for how long I did believe that the fat man with red costume existed in real life.
I only found out that the real Santa Clause is lolo when I was 10 years old – Yes, TEN YEARS OLD! Who told me about it? My yaya.
One morning, she taught me how to chop the sayote into small pieces. I didn’t want to do the task because I wanted to write a letter for Santa. She got mad at me and finally told me the truth about Santa.
“Hindi totoo si Santa! Mama, Papa o Lolo mo lang yun! Di ka ba nagtataka kung bakit may presyo pa yung gift nila na bathing suit sayo last year?” She furiously said.
“Hindi yan totoo! Bad ka!” I shouted.
I went straight to my lolo and asked him if Santa is for real. He then explained and admitted that Santa is not really real.
Honestly, I was heartbroken. They made me believe that Santa is for real. Hindi pala.
I used to receive a LOT of gifts during Christmas. Now that I am 21 years old, it’s the other way around. I am now obliged to buy soe gifts for the kids and the older ones. The main problem is not really the budget, but the time. I don’t have much time to shop.
But with so many people to shop for, it can be hard to find the perfect gift. That’s where personalized jewelry comes in. Personalized jewelry is a great way to show someone you care without having to spend a lot of time or money. You can find jewelry for everyone on your list, from the kids to the grandparents. And because it’s personalized, it’s a gift that they’ll cherish for years to come. So don’t stress about finding the perfect Christmas gifts this year. Just pick up some jewelry and you’ll be sure to make everyone happy.
A friend recently told me that I should buy a gift for myself before others. I am thinking of buying new shoes, a new bag and my own tv. Syempre hindi ko mabibili lahat yun dahil kulang ang pera ko.
December is the month when 3 out of the 6 children of my grandparents were born:
Tito Vincent was born on December 5
Papa Jojo was born on December 14
Tito George was born on December 28
All of them got married at January. All of them passed away.
December is always a rollercoaster month for me. I can be very happy in the morning and be extremely sad at night. I can be enthusiastic at night and lack motivation the next day. Oh well. December.. December.. nyok:D
This is my first Christmas away from Carlo. How will I spend my Christmas vacation? Hmmmm…
That’s all for now. Maligayang Christmas 😀
