Sunny Weekend in Puerto Princesa with AirPhil Express

This is a trip that I never imagined will push through. Bagyong Falcon is about to hit the country and I am in Dagupan City, Pangasinan last Thursday. I asked some of my travel blogger friends if the scheduled trip to Puerto Princesa will still push through. Most of us were hesitant because of the weather. When they finally confirmed that the weather in Puerto Princesa is good, I decided to take a bus trip from Dagupan at 6:30PM. Despite the heavy rain in some areas, i arrived safely in our house at 11PM.

I didn’t sleep during the whole duration of the bus trip. I didn’t sleep at home too even if i still have enough time to take a nap. I did some online tasks then packed my luggage at 4am. I once asked my companions if the trip will still push through since it’s raining hard that time. With the confirmation, I took a taxi to NAIA Terminal 3 to meet up with Robbie, Winston, Eric, Anton, Rochelle and JC with the staff of AirPhil Express (Line, Nicole, Mike and Brian). It’s not my first time to visit Puerto Princesa, but what made this trip exciting is that i’ll be enjoying the whole tour with some of my favorite travel companions. Also, our itinerary is loaded with activities and i’ve never been to some of the places listed. Exciting!

On Revisiting Puerto Princesa Through Microtel and Hopia/Noodle Party on a Plane

Wondering where I was last weekend? I, together with travel bloggers Anton, Melo, Eric, Ferdz, Dong and Winston went to Microtel Puerto Princesa for a fun-filled break. I was in the ‘City Within The Forest’ months ago and that was the most relaxing trip I had. Revisiting Puerto Princesa still gives me that excitement to explore and take pictures. I am the only female blogger in the group. I’m glad that Norsan and Jewel of Microtel were with us :)

Though it was my second time to go there, the trip was pretty memorable because of the following firsts: 1) My first Microtel Puerto Princesa accommodation 2.) My first AirPhilExpress flight 3.) My first time to see Nagtabon Cove 4.) My first time to bond with Anton, Ferdz and Dong  5.) My first diverted flight experience (and accidental Hopia/Noodle Party).

Reminiscing Our First Trip to Puerto Princesa

Four months ago, Ada, Jenny and I went to Puerto Princesa, Palawan for a 4D/3N vacation. We booked the flight as early as November 2009 because we wanted to take advantage of the promo. Maire booked too, but her work schedule didn’t permit her to go :(

Golden Island Senyorita Life in a Duyan

So the three of us went there without concrete plans at all. I can say that among my trips, this is the first time ever wherein we only booked for a hotel room hours before our flight, we didn’t have any itinerary (all we know is that the Underground River is located there LOL!) and we simply want it to be spontaneous. No plans, no whatevers.

Back from the City of Puerto Princesa

Just arrived from the beautiful city of Puerto Princesa three nights ago. I spent four days and three nights at the so-called “City Within the Forest” with my dear friends Ada and Shena. I was looking forward for the said trip due to the following reasons: 1.) We didn’t have concrete plans in mind 2.) We’re all first-timers and 3.) My dad once tried his luck in Puerto Princesa and even considered moving there to start a new life ten years ago.

Trying to punch away reality to live in a fantasy dream at Sabang Beach, Puerto Princesa, Palawan

Trying to punch away reality to live in a fantasy dream at Sabang Beach, Puerto Princesa, Palawan

I can say that the said trip to Palawan is the best trip ever. A lot of realizations were made and the beauty of the Philippines is much more appreciated. You would have thought that Underground River, which i can describe as ‘wonderfully weird’  is found in our very own country? Who would have thought that Puerto Princesa is really THAT big? Who would have thought we have such wonderful beaches that the foreign tourists loves? Who would have thought I’d rather choose Aegis over Paramore? Hahaha :P
