I am a Filipino movie fan whether that is mainstream or indie. It is the reason why I grabbed the opportunity when I was invited to come to the shooting of the upcoming sexy-drama film ‘My Neighbor’s Wife‘ yesterday in Subic. I mean, why not? Dennis Trillo, Jake Cuenca, Carla Abellana and Lovi Poe are four good reasons to say yes! 😛

Together with the promo staff of the said movie and other friends from the online media, we all went to Kamana Sanctuary Resorts and Spa in Subic, Zambales. When we arrived, the cast just finished shooting some water adventure scenes (Jetski etc.). Some of the cast members were already eating their lunch while the rest granted interview requests.

Despite the unpredictable weather, the taping pushed through. I’m lucky because I was given the chance to interview all four and I took a lot of photos too!

In the afternoon, they shot mostly pool party scenes. I heard that it is Carla Abellana’s first time to wear 2-pcs bikini for a movie project. This movie is actually predicted to be a controversial one since it tackles the issue of infidelity within married couples and good friends with a twist. For now, I’ll be posting some photo teasers. Sweet and Sexy Lovi Poe

It is a fun and interesting experience for me because aside from the fact that I was able to interview the lead stars, I also witnessed how writer/director Jun Lana works (i am a fan of his blog and his works for GMA-7!) and how the production team handles uncontrolled circumstances that happens in between shoots.  Something happened during the shoot but i will blog about it later 😛 I also got the chance to get to know Lovi Poe more after a series of tweet exchange last month.

Also included in the cast are Dimples Romana and Shay for PBBTE III. Katrina Halili will have a cameo in the film and it’s my first time to see her again in years. I’m glad to see her and she even said hi to me =)

Meanwhile, here’s the synopsis of My Neighbor’s Wife which will be shown in the cinemas by next month.

My Neighbor’s Wife is about two couples who are best friends and the emotional ups and downs that people go through when faced with marital infidelity. In a nutshell, conflict ensues when Carla Abellana decides to break up with her husband Jake Cuenca because of Jake’s one night stand mistake with Lovi Poe, a mistake that also rips apart Lovi’s marriage with Dennis Trillo. The movie tackles what happens when couples break up— what happens to their friendship, what happens to their perspective on relationships, and how it changes the way they view their own.

Expect more posts from me as I plan to write more about the cast and the entire movie. These are four different celebrities with four completely different personalities but they’re all lovable. Award-winning pa!
