The SEAIR and Microtel Boracay Dream Vacation

Two years ago, I won in a writing contest spearheaded by SEAIR. I won tickets supposedly for Palawan, but then the last minute, we were given tickets for a Boracay trip. I didn’t complain because it will be my grandparents’ first time to visit Boracay and it is also my friend Maire’s dream to go there.

Going back to Boracay... Hopefully, this year!

Going back to Boracay... Hopefully, this year!

My first SEAIR experience is a memorable one. It was my first time to ride again in a plane after 15 years and seeing my grandparents happy before we reached Caticlan airport is priceless. The whole trip was fast too! I remember Maire taking lots of pictures because it is her first airplane experience.

First time in Boracay with Lolo and Lola!

Who said that having fun in Boracay with your grannies  is not possible? Here’s a proof that you can make your grandparents happy once you bring them to Boracay! The two of them looked really good together especially when they were seated in fromt of the beach while sipping their favorite drink. They loved the sand and the complete feel of Boracay. It was my advanced 49th wedding anniversary gift for them.

My friend Maire was happy too! We were able to explore the three stations by walking and yes, our very first ‘sunburn kung sunburn’ experience T_T Since we were newbies there, we tried island hopping in the morning. I tried snorkeling and reef walking for the first time too. We stayed in a budget hotel somewhere in Station 2.

Xef and Winston :D

Then came September. I went there with friends Winston and Xef. We went there for a much-deserved weekend break (I remember we were really stressed with work prior to our flight). We tried island hopping and we kept on eating πŸ˜› We loved the sand and we actually miss it. Kung pwede lang mag-uwi eh LOL. We took lots of pictures and I really felt like I am a real senyorita that time πŸ˜› It was Winston and Xef’s first SEAIR flight then.

To be honest, SEAIR is the best choice if you want to fly to Boracay. Why? The Caticlan airport is nearer to the stop and there’s shuttle too. Less hassle πŸ˜€

I told myself that I want to go back to Boracay again this year. I feel like I haven’t really explored much yet and that there’s more wonderful stuff to discover. I want to gallivant and have a break from work and blogging duties!

SEAIR and Microtel Boracay, grant my wish please!

Now let’s go to my Microtel dream. Two years ago, a number of bloggers went to Microtel Boracay and since I was a bit ‘closed-minded’ when it comes to traveling back then, i secretly wish that one day, i’d be able to go to Boracay and stay there too. The photos and testimonies by the travel bloggers were impressive and i want to experience what they blogged about before. I think staying in a a much better hotel/resort in Boracay will somewhat make you feel like a princess even just for a day, right? πŸ˜›

I went to Microtel Baguio last June and I was lucky enough to explore Microtel Puerto Princesa in July. Of course, a wonderful stay in Microtel Boracay would be fun!

My first Boracay Trip is mainly for my Lolo and Lola. The second one was spent with friends. I will dedicate third one is solely for myself  (and I will surely like it LOL πŸ˜€   ) I want to explore further and be pampered at the same time in the wonderful island of Boracay! Come on, make me feel like a real Senyorita πŸ˜›

I want another Boracay adventure!

I want another Boracay adventure!

Just in case I get in (just in case… don’t assume, Mica), It will be a perfect opportunity to bond with seven more travel bloggers. Meeting new people in a very beautiful place will surely result in a worth-remembering adventure!

mapa Palawan or Boracay—win win situation parin. and the most important thing is—you enjoyed it and your family too…..that’s the missing link among some travelers.

I really haven’t been to Boracay. It’s been my dream to go there. For some reasons though, my first backpacking will be at Cebu. I’ve been a frustrated traveler. Hopefully, I can soon start my travelogue.

Just passing by your blog, Mica. Good luck to your entry. Cheers!

@pusang-kalye – True. Actually, my grandparents love to travel. Ang dami na nilang napuntahan hehe pero during their time kasi parang mas mahirap to travel within the Philippines due to limited flights. Boracay is also one of their dream destinations and finally nakapunta na sila πŸ˜€

@Jakey Junkie – Going to Cebu is a good start πŸ™‚ Try reading some of my Cebu-related post and learn why I went their seven times in a span of one year hehe πŸ˜› Looking forward to your travelogue πŸ˜€

Wushu gagawa ka lang ng pelikula sa Boracay eh! MAKE IT A HOT ONE! Mala-Rita Magdalena, Rodel Velayo, Ynez Veneracion, at Jordan Herrera!

Pag ginawa mo ‘yan, pramis, ipo-promote ko nang todo ‘yang pelikulang ‘yan! (Offer is good within the year only. Kung 2011 or later mo na gagawin, I’ll reconsider it if you mix me in with the cast.)

    Hohohoho!

    @KEN – Woot. Thank You πŸ™‚

@Judd – Sus, gusto mo lang lumabas sa isang sexy film eh! Rita? Ynez? Bakit ‘yan? I’d rather do a Temptation Island or a Sarsi Emmanuel or a Maria IsabeL Lopez! πŸ˜›

Hmmm… If Ada and I make it in the final cut, we’ll do a Temptation Island spoof. Pangako yan πŸ˜› (Sana matupad hehehe:P)

@ED- Goodluck to you too, Ed! Kitakits! (sana hehe πŸ˜› )
