The search for true love and perfect melody finally ended last December 26, 2009 for Kuya Jay de Jesus and Ate Aileen Apolo as they finally exchanged vows – on their 800th day of knowing and loving each other!
I received the online invitation of the wedding two weeks before the wedding date. I’ve been wanting to finally see them tie the knot since they are two of the most admired individuals in the blogosphere and yes, the most admirable blogger couple.
I was formally introduced to Kuya Jay and Ate Aileen at the Spot.PH Food Tour in Trinoma. It is the first blog event I attended in 2008 (fresh from Dagupan pa hehe). They perfectly looked good together and you can really see the chemistry between them. Miguel, the son of Ate Aileen tagged along with them and you can see that there is no tension or whatsoever which made the situation an admirable one π
Then I constantly saw them in offline blogging events until Kuya Jay became one of my most trusted Kuyas online and offline. Ate Aileen and I became constant chatmates at Gtalk too where we share some kakikayan and geeky stuff that only girls will understand π
I’m sure you want to learn more about their wonderful lovestory. Unfortunately, I’m not a responsible storyteller as of the moment LOL π Here are some videos that can testify to the lovestory of Aileen and Jay π
Here are some photos taken from the Official Online Wedding Album Courtesy of fotogra.ph π
More photos found at Fotogra.ph Aileen and Jay’s Wedding Album as taken by Markku and Hana (the next blogger couple to tie the knot? why not? :P)
Truly, this is just the beginning of a wonderful married life. I went out with Kuya Jay and Ate Aileen a lot of times already and you know what? I also want to be in a relationship similar to theirs. Basta. Those who were able to hangout with them in the past can testify to that.
Hmmmm… since they’re a living proof that love can possibly be found online (of course, the offline interaction is important), it makes me wonder if i’d end up with a blogger? Wala lang may masabi lang. Dunno how to end this post so i’ll end it now π
Thanks Mica for the very kind words… and yes, kuya at ate mo pa rin kami ni Aileen online and offline kahit kasal na kami. Take note, hindi kami as bloggers nagkakilala. Coincidence lang that both of us blogged. But who knows… there are thousands of bloggers there and how many more thousands of people online.
Whether you meet that special someone online of offline, make sure maging best friends kayo muna ha. It really helps kasi.
Take care always Mica. π
PS: re: Hana & Markku, Drew comments = PWEDE !
Awwww such a heartfelt post! Actually it was months after we met when Jay and I found out that we were bloggers. We met because of Digitalfilipino and would hang-out whenever there was a club meeting and we became constant late night chat mates. Our love story was born out of friendship. We never thought that we’d end up together. Things just fell into place. Sabi nga, when the time is right, God will truly write your love story for you, kaya enjoy lang, date lang ng date! Hehehehe.
Next possible blogger-couple to tie the knot… Markku and Hana! Dapat! Teehee.
ang cute nung proposal. =)
Ito ang pagpapatunay na may pag-asa ang panliligaw ko thru Facebook… This will serve as an inspiration… Amf…

Pero correction, photos were by Karl (of mimiandkarl.com, Mimi wasn’t able to join this shoot) with Markku & Hana. At wala pa kaming pera para magpa-kasal soon. Hehehe. =P
Hmmmm ito pala ang online wedding of the
year na pwedeng ipantapat sa Ryan-Judy Ann
at KoriMar. Cool. Though di ko sila kilala

with love and blessed all year round. π
