Micamyx is currently watching Myx. I am busy updating some of my blogs when all of a sudden, VJ Nikki introduced Princess Velasco’s ‘You Still Have My Heart’ in Myx’s Pinoy Countdown.

I bought a copy of Princess’ sophomore album last February as a pre-valentine gift for myself. Her first single is her very own acoustic version of Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’. Her version is obviously a more soothing one, but I didn’t like the music video that much. She has a number of good revivals in the second album and finally, she recorded one original song. The title of the track is ‘You Still Have My Heart’, which was written by Davey Langit of Pinoy Dream Academy Season One. I fell in love instantly when I first heard the song. I even used it in one of my Project 52 Weeks entry 😛 I am so happy to know that finally, Princess released the song as one of her singles and a music video was even made and produced.

As far as I am concerned, the music video for You Still Have My Heart is her best yet. You can see the emotion from her eyes and I love the concept. It also reminded me of our short Marikina Trip last April 2009 😛 I think its on the same location 😛

What can you say about Princess Velasco’s new song and music video? I suggest that you get a copy of Addicted to Acoustic 2. Some of my favorite tracks include her version of Tiktok, One Time and Where are you now. A part of me wants to direct her in a music video or much better in a short film. It would be nice to direct an old friend, right? 😀
