Alaminos, Pangasinan – The Home of the Hundred Islands

Just last September 4, 2010, Kraft launched the world’s longest Christmas celebration with the Eden’s Sarap ng Pasko: 100 Days of Christmas. Last year, I was able to join the Kraft Keso de Gallo in Pampanga on the 4th of December. The new project for this year is twice the fun and the excitement!

What makes this project unique? Well, 100 towns from different parts of the Philippines presents their Unique Dish, and the top 9 cities with most votes will be recognized by 9 best recipes in 9 churches. The project slogan is : “100 Days. 100 Towns. 100 Unique Dishes.”

Since Dagupan City is not on the list, I will be supporting Alaminos City, Pangasinan this time. Familiar? It is the place where the world-famous Hundred Islands Natures Park is located. Alaminos City is also known for its seafoods and clean surroundings. On March 28, 2001, Alaminos was officially declared as the Fourth City of Pangasinan.
