HELLO DECEMBER! Wow, that fast? I recall that around this time last year, I was busy doing some last minute preparations for my trip to the UK. Instead of buying new clothes for the winter season, I shopped for Filipino goodies like Lucky Me Pansit Canton, Boy Bawang, Likas Papaya Soap, Cebu Dried Mangoes, Goldilocks Polvoron and so on. My friends also prepared a mini-despedida for me. I didn’t really know what to expect and I don’t have concrete plans at all. You know, the possibility of me staying there for good and meeting my now teen brother Carlo after many years.
I passed that challenge already and right now, I am here in a coffee shop somewhere in Dagupan City waiting for my high school classmates whom I haven’t seen in years. ΓΒ Yikes. I’m nervous. Weird feeling is weird LOL.
When I wrote my last blog entry, I was a bit emotional (as always). I guess I am now in the stage wherein reality about the future hits me. I cannot really blame some members of the family if they want me to embrace stability over my recent lifestyle. I am ok with living on a daily basis, but I also have my mom and brother and being the eldest in the family means I have responsibilities. I am not turning my back on that, but I simply want to enjoy life as a single individual. I know that life will be different once I get into a serious relationship or motherhood. I know my priorities and one of which is being happy with no regrets. So yeah, I travel and eat a lot!
December will be one happy travel month for me. Like I mentioned earlier, I am here in Dagupan City now. I might go back to Lingayen (again?!) and visit Urdaneta City too. I will visit Tagaytay for an overnight stay next week and I am finally visiting Moalboal and Bantayan in Cebu! Beach time with the Bagets <3
Another good news that came up a few days ago is related to the Philippine Blog Awards 2011, which is scheduled tomorrow night. I am nominated in two categories: Best Personal Blog (second year na! thanks weee) and Best Single Post for “A Reunion Story“. I am honored to be a finalist. That is enough for me already. Winning an award is a bonus though hehe π My interview segment in the Podcast Sessions with SoloFlightEd is also nominated under the Top Videocast/Podcast Category! If you’re bored right now, you can listen to the interview. I’m happy with the recognitions. Thanks to PBA and my readers!
I have bigger plans for my travel blog SENYORITA.NET. I would like to thank those who have been giving me tips and advice on how to improve my blog. You all know who we are. π
It is OK to be sentimental at times, but you should also look at the bright side of things and be thankful because you’re blessed. Maligayang Pagbati to all!
Congrats again, Mica! Here’s to more adventures in the days to come! π
Congrats! Enjoy your travels this Dec! =)
I’m inspired to do a similar post Mica! Hehe
Anyways, you seem to have a happy and life-filled December ahead of you. Keep up the happiness and liveliness. See you when you come here in Cebu!
Merry Christmas! π
