Good news to all mobile phone enthusiast residing in the Philippines! Globe recently announced that iPhone 4 is now available in the country!

I am not really addicted to mobile phones, but I am blogging about this because most of my friends change their phones more than once a year. Some of them even carry the newest phone units with them everywhere they go. They will surely love to add iPhone 4 in their collection.

iPhone4 is now available in the Philippines!

iPhone 4 is now available in Glorietta and Greenbelt. On September 26, Globe will have a formal launch at the Makati Shangri-la  and New World Hotels, where the first customers who signed up via Globe’s website will be invited. The pricelist for iPhone will be posted soon on Globe’s website.

So, what makes this iPhone 4 special? The FaceTime feature allows video calling and the Retina Display, which I think is the highest resolution display ever built for a phone. What caught my interest though is the HD video recording. It simply means I can record videos for my P52W project anytime 😛

The last time I bought a phone (technically, i didn’t buy it haha) was way back in September 2007. I never considered buying other phones despite my friends having the most updated models. This iPhone 4 might just change my mind. Let’s see.. 😛
