Random Thoughts While Eating Donuts

Guess where I am as I type this entry? LOL

Burp

…. I panicked last night. I was updating the right sidebar of my blog when suddenly all the widgets disappeared. The bad thing there is I can’t even access my dashboard! Thank God Jehzlau fixed the problem (though he kept on insisting that he didn’t even touch it LOL). I later found out that the code I entered is not compatible with Linux. Errr.. I never thought the code can cause such trouble. 0_o

…. I’ve been wanting to travel around the country. I won some tickets for Palawan from SEAIR last year and I am thinking of using it sometime in June for Boracay with my grannies and some of my high school buddies. Why all of a sudden I’m going to Boracay and not Palawan? Well, the representative from SEAIR told me that they’re no longer accommodating flights for Busuanga. So there. I am excited and I even made a simple itinerary for the trip.

…. April 11 is my brother’s 14th birthday and it’s black saturday. We usually go to Jollibee for his birthday when he was still here in the Philippines with me. How will I spend that day? Hmmmm… Make me happy please 😀

…. A good friend of mine booked a trip to Cebu for me yesterday! We’re planning to go there by August.

We’ll be staying there for four days and I am eager to meet some of my relatives there.

Ipanema’s Walk a Green Mile and Uno Magazine Revamped

I was invited last February for the launch of the Ipanema echo-chic Gisele Bündchen Seeds Collection. I remember watching the Philippine Ballet Theater members perform a very colorful presentation wearing the newest Ipanema flipflops. In the said event, the organizers announced that they have a joint project with Haribon Foundation called ‘Walk a Green Mile”.

So I went to Le Souffle that hot Saturday afternoon and met up with some of my blogger friends who, like me, wanted to spend their weekend doing something really productive and at the same time, exercise LOL. I was there as early as 3:00 (though I thought I was late ). I saw a lot of volunteers and kids who are willing to walk  and contribute something for the Haribon Foundation.

BE all that you can BE! – BB Gandanghari

Last January 2009, the news broke out in National television that former matinee idol and action star Rustom Padilla is dead.

As expected, his loyal fans and the people in the showbiz industry were shocked with the news only to find out later on that Rustom Padilla didn’t really “die” literally. It’s just that the actor is back in the country with a different name and a different persona.

Playboy Philippines turns one!

Playboy Philippines was launched last year with beauty queen Priscilla M. on the cover. The publishers received a lot of criticisms, but they were able to prove that the magazine is not as “pornographic” as what others might think it is.

Playboy Poster

Last Friday, a number of bloggers were invited at Source Bar to celebrate their first year in the market. As expected, a lot of sexy models with the signature rabbit ears were being photographed by the bloggers.

Life’s a Beach and then you Die

Life's a Beach and then you Die

He was sipping a hot black coffee in a black mug where the saying “Life’s a Beach then you die” is engraved as he solves a crossword puzzle. He lit and puffed his last stick of Prime Time Cigars when I complained that I am irritated with his thick mustache especially when he is kissing me.

I’ll tell you what I want, what I really, really want (in Filipino)

Maaga akong nagising kaninang umaga.

Spending the Weekend at Pangasinan

Last week, I went back to Pangasinan mainly for the Search Engine Marketing and Optimization Seminar at Urdaneta City University with Ms. Janette Toral and Mr. Gary Viray. If I’m not mistaken, it is the first seminar ever in Pangasinan and I’m glad that a number of SEO practitioners attended that day. So if you’re seeking for an SEO guy that can meet your budget, one of them may be it.

Search Engine Marketing and Optimization Seminar

We also met up with the rest of the SEO Pangasinan members at Silverio’s Restaurant. We did talk about the upcoming SEMCON Pangasinan which will take place sometime in July. I am excited because finally, my dream project is pushing through. Two years ago, I wanted to organize a blogging seminar at our school, but the teachers in our school were not open with the idea. Though blogging and SEO is rather different from one another, I am still glad that a number of people from my hometown are willing to unite for this exciting project. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Bitstop, Digital Filipino Club and SEO Pangasinan. Waaah naiiyak na ako LOL 😛

Reminiscing Sago’s Belo Experience

I remember meeting Jonel Uy for the first time at the iBlog4 (at the Isaw stand hehe). He later on joined us at the 88db Party for Bloggers.

Sago with Dr. Hayden Kho Jr.

Sago with Dr. Hayden Kho Jr.

After a few months, he came up with a blog for his little toy named Sago. One of the first blog events Sago attended is the Belo Open House for Bloggers last August 16, 2008 at the Belo Tomas Morato Branch and Packo’s Grill. I am proud to say that I took part in organizing the said event as I used to work in the company as their Web Marketing Specialist.

It was Sago’s first event in a clinic and if I’m not mistaken, Dr. Hayden Kho Jr. is Sago’s first Celebrity Pal. Isn’t he lucky?
