AYOSDITO.PH: Your Marketplace in the Philippines

Ayos Dito

AYOSDITO.PH is one of the sponsors of the recently-concluded iBlog5: The Philippine Blog Summit. Out of curiosity, I went to their website and browsed to know what the site has to offer. I’ve been seeing a lot of promotional campaign materials online about the company and it is actually a good sign that they are determined to make it big in the Philippine online marketing industry.

iBlog5: The Philippine Blogging Summit Aftermath

Just last month, i wrote a blog entry about my experience as a participant at iBlog3 and iBlog4. It was through the blogging summit where i met other bloggers and at the same time learn from the speakers.

Mica and AJ by Arbet

Last Saturday, AJ and I gave a talk on the Basics of Blogging or simply Blogging 101. Ms. Janette asked me if I wanted to speak for the newbies. I was a bit worried since err… I have a slight phobia on speaking onstage. I then realized that this is a perfect chance for me to overcome that fear and at the same time share my  ideas on blogging.

Tnomeralc Web Design Toys Challenge For The Win!

After two months of blogging, link building, forum posting, bookmarking and all, Claremont Designs finally declared our Tnomeralc Web Design Toys entry as the grand winner for the Tnomeralc Web Design Toys SEO Challenge!

Final Results of the Tnomeralc Web Design Toys SEO Challenge

To be honest, I never really imagined myself joining any SEO contest similar to this. Yes, I did participate in some writing projects (emerging influential blogs, filipina, pinoy vlogging etc.) and blog contests, but never in a SEO contest.

I first heard about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) from my Kuya Nyok named Jehzeel. He taught me some techniques and stuff, but due to my laziness and exclusive interest in Personal and Entertainment blogging, i never had the chance to practice nor do some more research about SEO. I was also a bit scared because I heard some stories from other SEO practitioners and it seems like they’re discouraging me. I dunno. On the other hand, my dear kuya nyok is a person full of positive energy and he did help me out (though i never understood some of the terms he was telling me).

Last February, my nyok friend Winston informed me that he is reinventing his blog Nitropixel into a SEO Tutorial blog. Winston is a certified internet marketing specialist with clients from the US and Singapore, his favorite. We have a number of projects together (Pinoy Fans Club etc) and some are still on the pending list. He gave some tips on optimization and i admit that 50% of the time, i’m not really paying attention at all.

Eh Eh (There’s Nothing Else I Can Say)

Lady Gaga Eh Eh

I am going gaga over Lady Gaga‘s songs like Poker Face and Just Dance. Last week, i took a quiz at Facebook called “Which Lady Gaga song are you?” and my result is: Eh Eh (There’s nothing else i can say). I found the song at Youtube and I’m playing and groovin’ to it as i type this entry.

Here are some headlines that can make me  say Eh Eh this week (go figure out if its a good or bad eh-eh LOL)

iBlog5: The Philippine Blogging Summit

Yesterday, I scanned through my i.PH blog and read some of the entries I wrote way back in April 2007. It is the month when I went to Manila from Dagupan for two reasons: My On-the-Job training at SVI and iBlog3.

As a newbie to blog events, I was really excited to the fact that I am going to UP and learn more about blogging. I learned that a blogger can actually venture into different niches and even earn money from it. The fact that I’ll be meeting some of the authors of the blogs I’m reading added to the excitement of the Dagupena dreamer.

At iBlog3, I was with Gee, one of the bloggers I met thru a game we were in years ago. I met my cyber mom in the persona of Tita Dine. It was also in that summit where I met Cai and Louis, two of my closest friends today.
“Sa Dagupan ka pa galing? Ang layo ah” Louis said who is carrying a big backpack.

“Oo. Kahapon lang ako dumating. Excited nga ako eh” I replied.

“Wow, pare-pareho pala tayong nagbblog sa i.ph? Ang saya naman!” I told them in a shy manner.

“Oo naman.. Mas maraming i.ph bloggers last year kasi nagsponsor din sila” Cai, who was wearing a long skirt and bakya said.

We became good cyber friends even if I went back to Dagupan. We were struggling students who are finding ways of earning extra money from online gigs.

Trip to Marikina City

Marikina City is tagged as the Shoe Capital of the Philippines. I remember passing by the place way back when I was in high school since it is a part of our itinerary during our field trip and the “biggest shoe in the world” was all over the papers during that time.

Last week, Kuya Jay invited us to his hometown. I met up with Kuya Drew, Ate Aileen and Miguel at Gateway. Our trip on our way to Marikina was full of laughter and hELLuR pOwhz. We went to Pan de Amerikana and met up with Kuya Jay. The food is cheap and the place is really nice. There’s this life-size chess board and hanging bridge. It was my first time to finally talk to Kuya Migs. Later on, Kuya Marc and Ate Gail arrived.

Having a Chocolate-y April Fools’ Day @ Krispy Kreme

This afternoon, Jehz, Maki and I had an impromtu plurkfiesta at Krispy Kreme GH. Jehz texted me at 5pm saying that he is at Gilmore and is thinking of passing by wherever I am to hand me the item I wanted to borrow. I rushed to my favorite Krispy Kreme branch and texted Maki if she can drop by after work. Gladly, she did.

I haven’t seen the two for more than a month already and guess what? Both of them have different hairstyles now. I am also thinking of having my hair treated once I receive my BB cheque 😀

Anyway, here are some of the pictures we took awhile ago. I call this treat as our Chocolate-y April Fools’ Day haha 😀 Check out the photostory I did below inspired from Pinoy Parazzi:

Mica: Waaah gutom na ako. I'll eat this blue donut na.

Mica: Waaah gutom na ako. I’ll eat this blue donut na!
Maki: Tara, pa-picture na tayo while eating KK donuts!
Jehz: Bakit ako walang donut? Ayaw akong bigyan ng donuts nina Mica at Maki huhu nyok ~_~
