Night Swimming on the 31st of July

I had a pretty hectic Saturday last weekend. I attended the press launch of Department of Tourism’s (DOT) at Manila Ocean Park with fellow travel bloggers. After the press launch and late lunch, Eric, Prince, Winston and I went around and play around like little kids inside the venue.

I was more excited for the get-together that night since the Nyoks planned a simple dinner for the one and only Batang Yagit. I went straight at our condo while he went straight to Hidalgo to buy a birthday gift for himself (Lens naman.. buti na lang at hindi na gadget!). While he’s busy scouting for the best present, we were quite busy… waiting for him LOL.

Nuffnang PH’s Rockeoke Night with Tim and Ming!

Thank God It’s Monday! I was invited by my friends from NuffnangPH to meet Tim and Ming, the young founders of Nuffnang, the leading blog advertising network in Asia! Since most of the Nuffies are Rockeoke regulars at Mag:Net High Street on Mondays (paging Kel, Carlos and Judd!), no wonder they decided to make the first night of Tim and Ming in the Philippines extra special by letting them act like a rockstar even just for a night.

Carlos The Rakista

How do Nuffies do the Rock 'n Roll? Let Carlos teach you lah..

I went there at 10PM (Failed to drink Margarita with them at Agave – Boo!) and as expected, everyone is ready with their song. I will simply present a photostory for you to have an idea on what happened that Nuffy Monday ๐Ÿ˜›

On The Red Shoes, Shabu-Shabu and Donuts

Thank God It’s Friday! Aside from I have no work on Fridays, it is also the day wherein I am able to meet-up with some of my friends or have some ‘me’ time. Last Friday was extra special because of the following reasons: 1.) I am one of the first to see Unitel Pictures’ The Red Shoes 2.) Late Gloria Maris Shabu-Shabu Dinner 3.) Project52Weeks completion at Krispy Kreme.

Nuffnang Philippines gave me an exclusive pass to the Media screening of Unitel Pictures’ The Red Shoes. If you are a regular reader of my blog, most probably you’ve seen the advertisement with the faces of Marvin Agustin and Nikki Gil on it. To be honest, I first find the Marvin-Nikki tandem very dull. Maybe it is because I never really pictured them to be a loveteam in a movie or tv series or yeah, the Kapuso-Kapamilya thingy too LOL.

So initially, you will only see The Red Shoes in the trailer and movie poster. I thought the movie will focus more on Imelda Marcos’ addiction with shoes (Mas sikat pa nga si Imelda Marcos kaysa sa Pilipinas! – Tessie Tomas, The Red Shoes). If you are a devotee of the 1986 People Power Revolution, i’m sure that you will enjoy this film. But wait, the story doesn’t really revolve there.

Luna Bar & Resto – The Newest Gimik Place in Greenhills!

My most-loved area in Metro Manila is Greenhills. Why? Aside from the fact that it is a perfect place for shopping to Tiangge lovers, there’s a number of malls, restaurants, coffee shops and gimik places there. It is also located in the middle of the North and South part and yeah, I live in this area ๐Ÿ˜›

Luna Bar and Resto - The Newest Gimik Place in Greenhills!

The only thing that I noticed in Greenhills is that there is a limited number of nightlife places. Most of the establishments here closes at around 1am that’s why I have no choice but to go home by that time.
Last January 16, I attended the first-ever event my friend Hannah organized! Together with Vince of WhenInManila.com, they organized the Grand Launch Party for Luna Bar & Restaurant, the newest gimik place in Greenhills!

The Lounge Soft Opening – Time to Move On and Party!

I had a blast last Saturday night because I got invited at the soft launch of The Lounge, the newest chillax place found at 2nd Floor Bellagio Square, Corner Scout Fuentebella St., Tomas Morato, Quezon City. It is located at the same building as Ratsky’s and Coffee Bean Tea Leaf. The Lounge is co-owned by Hayden Kho so expect the place to have no vandals, just scandals. Nah, of course I’m kidding ๐Ÿ˜›

Hayden Kho did the honors of giving a short background on The Lounge and introduced his business partners. Cristine Reyes, whom I haven’t seen for so long, graced the Ribbon Cutting ceremony. I smiled when she recognized me. I thought she’d only remember me by name ๐Ÿ˜›

More photos and information after the jump.

On Watching Ice Age 3 in Full 3D and Flippish Launch Party

I had a very stressful Thursday. I remember waking up at the wrong side of the bed and deleting a number of spam on one of my newly-launched blogs. I did a number of articles at work and I had a feeling that the boss will ask us to do more writing stuff so I left right away leaving my office mates behind ๐Ÿ˜›

Ice Age 3 Launch at Trinoma Cinema

The naughty kiddo went straight to the MRT station to go to Trinoma and attend the launch of ร‚ย Ice Age 3 at Trinoma Cinema. As expected, a lot of kids and kids at heart were at the venue taking photos with some of the mascots. I wanted to have a photo taken with Goin’ Bulilit star Mica dela Cruz, but I failed ๐Ÿ˜

Playboy Philippines turns one!

Playboy Philippines was launched last year with beauty queen Priscilla M. on the cover. The publishers received a lot of criticisms, but they were able to prove that the magazine is not as “pornographic” as what others might think it is.

Playboy Poster

Last Friday, a number of bloggers were invited at Source Bar to celebrate their first year in the market. As expected, a lot of sexy models with the signature rabbit ears were being photographed by the bloggers.

No Strings Attached on Valentine’s Day

Two years ago, I celebrated my VDAY with my brother Carlo through a Jollibee dinner with him. I went out my my best buds Lecel and Kenjo last year at Serve Araneta for the Katrina Halili Fashion Show and went to Barrackz afterwards to bond with some online friends.

This year, I woke up late on VDAY. I wasn’t expecting for any flowers, chocolates or whatever, but I was excited for the Singles Partyco-organized by my friend TJ Cruz. Events like that are always fun, but plenty of people also turn to apps that let them meet horny women for quick connections.

Elation Buffet Launch – A Night of Chocolates and Shooters

After eating dinner with the usual Plurkfiesta suspects at Glorietta and eating Maki in Trinoma, Jehz and I went straight to Grand Terrace, Commonwealth for the Elation Buffet Launch. We arrived at around 11pm and we were a bit surprised with what we saw (in a good way, of course!). Benj was kind enough to warn us about the crowd (the party place was dominated by youngsters – alam niyo na yun LOL).

Thank God we saw familiar faces like Hannah, Shari, Coy, Fritz, Robby, Gwen, Tiffy, Helga and Jeff.

I went straight to the Chocolate Fondue then some ย bloggers invited me on the dance floor ๐Ÿ˜€

My Clear Sexy Black Halloween Party for Bloggers Experience

After visiting my dad at Manila Memorial Park and joined my cousins for a little Trick or Treat dinner in Paranaque, my grandparents drove me to SM Mall of Asia to attend the Clear Black Night Halloween Dance Party for Bloggers at Taste Asia.

I arrived at the venue at around 9pm. I saw a lot of bloggers and models wearing masks and black clothes. Thank God I found my blog pals despite the fact that its very crowded and yeah, “dark” ๐Ÿ˜›

Then I saw more familiar faces: Ate Aileen, Jaydj, Billycoy, Fritz, Jester, Marcelle, Doc Tess, Kring, Poyt, Kevin, Ian , Jhed, LA, Carlo, Sarah, Juned, Eric, Karla, Eugene, Azrael, Edward, Lace, Sire, Fitz, Youngmaze, Chris, Lad, Jane and more. Seeing Cai again in a big blog event made me even happier. Then the youngsters Jehzlau, Winston, Jeric, Ada, Sabrina, Carl, Jonel, Tiffy, Ed etc. made the night more special.

I saw a lot of beautiful and handsome models that night. They’re all tall and fabulous. Not only that, the Ms. Earth 2008 candidates went to the event as well for photo ops and to meet the bloggers. Whatta sexy night indeed!
