Staying at Jupiter Suites Makati

The last Saturday of January was pretty tiring yet fulfilling day on my part. Let’s just say that I am working on a very serious project that day. My team and I had to go to San Juan, then to Makati then back to San Juan again. The traffic jam added to the stress and worries of each and every one of us. I’m just lucky that all the crew members were dedicated to their temporary roles that day.

Tired but Happy at Jupiter Suites Makati

Tired but Happy at Jupiter Suites Makati

At around 4pm, we found ourselves working at Jupiter Suites Makati. It is one of the most-recommended budget hotels in Makati by the bloggers. It is located at the corner of Makati Avenue and Jupiter Suites. We checked the rates of Jupiter Suites and it really suits those who wants to go and stay in Makati without spending too much money.

Happy Friday the 13th! (Digital Filipino Web Awards and 2012 Movie Premiere)

There’s something about #13 that makes me feel excited eversince I was a kid. I remember my nanny telling me that Friday the 13th is a day of badluck. Ironically, Friday the 13th has always been a good day for me.

The First PBA ’09 Visayas Awards Night

My third time in Cebu is very memorable and should I say ‘historical’ because I witnessed the first ever Philippine Blog Awards ’09 Visayas Leg last October 19 at Ayala City Sports, Cebu City. The event was well-attended by Cebu-based bloggers, PBA Organizers, volunteers, press and media from the Queen City of the South.

PBA '09 Visayas Leg - Major Success!

PBA '09 Visayas Leg - Major Success!

Ada and I booked a flight to Cebu last month via Zestair (and I regret my choice of airline LOL). We originally wanted to go to Cebu then take an hour ride to Bohol for Saturday and go back to the City by Sunday morning to attend the awards night at the evening. Plans changed due to the weather reports and lack of funds ๐Ÿ˜›

Our first day in Cebu with some of our Manila blogger friends is made of pure win. I got the chance to patch up with Pangga couple Hana and Markku, who were my former workmates (that deserves another blog entry hehe). We got the chance to gallivant around the city and visit Talisay, Kuya Markku’s hometown.

Let’s go back to the awards night ๐Ÿ˜› After eating our lunch at Mooon Cafe, Ada, Winston, Van and I went to the venue to simply check the place. We went back to our hotel room at Sampaguita Suites to sleep (yes, sleeping in Cebu is a great experience! haha). We dressed up at around 5pm and went straight to Ayala City Sports for the awards night.

On Watching Ice Age 3 in Full 3D and Flippish Launch Party

I had a very stressful Thursday. I remember waking up at the wrong side of the bed and deleting a number of spam on one of my newly-launched blogs. I did a number of articles at work and I had a feeling that the boss will ask us to do more writing stuff so I left right away leaving my office mates behind ๐Ÿ˜›

Ice Age 3 Launch at Trinoma Cinema

The naughty kiddo went straight to the MRT station to go to Trinoma and attend the launch of ร‚ย Ice Age 3 at Trinoma Cinema. As expected, a lot of kids and kids at heart were at the venue taking photos with some of the mascots. I wanted to have a photo taken with Goin’ Bulilit star Mica dela Cruz, but I failed ๐Ÿ˜

Singing Blogger and Micamyx at Pinoy Popcast Episode 2!

Sometime last month, Jeff a.k.a. Singing Blogger and I recorded a song together. Well, we were not really together inside a room, but I was able to record my vocals and I sent it to him through ym. He did the editing stuff and viola! we have our own version of Careless Whisper!

Micamyx and Singing Blogger

When the song was “released” online, a lot of people were wondering if we met up prior to that recording. Just saw him twice (Tv5 Videoke and Ipanema) and we only managed to say hi and hello. I am really a fan of his eversince I heard his version of Angels so there ๐Ÿ˜›

Thanks to Pinoy Popcast, Jeff and I finally met up last week and recorded a song together!

Trip to Marikina City

Marikina City is tagged as the Shoe Capital of the Philippines. I remember passing by the place way back when I was in high school since it is a part of our itinerary during our field trip and the “biggest shoe in the world” was all over the papers during that time.

Last week, Kuya Jay invited us to his hometown. I met up with Kuya Drew, Ate Aileen and Miguel at Gateway. Our trip on our way to Marikina was full of laughter and hELLuR pOwhz. We went to Pan de Amerikanaย and met up with Kuya Jay. The food is cheap and the place is really nice. There’s this life-size chess board and hanging bridge. It was my first time to finally talk to Kuya Migs. Later on, Kuya Marc and Ate Gail arrived.

TV 5’s Blogger’s Videoke Night @ Redbox

Last year, TV5 made the bloggers happy with their first blog event where everyone didn’t leave the venue empty handed.

No Strings Attached on Valentine’s Day

Two years ago, I celebrated my VDAY with my brother Carlo through a Jollibee dinner with him. I went out my my best buds Lecel and Kenjo last year at Serve Araneta for the Katrina Halili Fashion Show and went to Barrackz afterwards to bond with some online friends.

This year, I woke up late on VDAY. I wasn’t expecting for any flowers, chocolates or whatever, but I was excited for the Singles Partyco-organized by my friend TJ Cruz. Events like that are always fun, but plenty of people also turn to apps that let them meet horny women for quick connections.

Plurklakbayan ’08 sa Tagaytay!

The 26th Day of December 2008 is a memorable date for the plurkers who were able to attend the first ever Plurklakbayan (Plurkfiesta outside Metro Manila).

ย

Looking Forward to a BETTER 2009! ๐Ÿ™‚

All the Plurkers know the fact that Plurkfiestas are usually unplanned. We’ve been thinking of going out of town for the past months and finally, the first Plurklakbayan happened!
