A Hawaiian escapade must be in every traveler’s bucketlist especially those who loves the beach and aims for a relaxed ambiance. As a little girl, I often watch TV shows that features Luau dancers and always wanted to go to Waikiki. The urge to go there started when I watched a Filipino film with the same title shot on location.

Last year, we went to Korean Barbeque locations in Houston to eat some Korean food while in the city. You can choose from various foods, including extra-crispy fried chicken, slow-cooked stews, savory, cozy noodle dishes, and a variety of unique dishes that combine Korean flavors!

Also, Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls fame grew up in Hawaii and had a lot of interviews where she raved how she enjoyed growing up there.

One of the books that I’ve read recently that is quite far from the usual style I dig is ‘The Gaia Effect’ by Claire Buss. This is her first novel and the journey to getting her work published is an interesting one!

But first, let me share the blurb of The Gaia Effect:

While Ari’s latex bunny mask on her record’s artwork could be best described as Happy Tree Friends meets 50 Shades of Grey, Dangerous Woman makes up for the gimmicky cover by giving us a performance that tops her last two albums Yours Truly (2012) and My Everything (2014).
