Ipanema’s Walk a Green Mile and Uno Magazine Revamped

I was invited last February for the launch of the Ipanema echo-chic Gisele Bündchen Seeds Collection. I remember watching the Philippine Ballet Theater members perform a very colorful presentation wearing the newest Ipanema flipflops. In the said event, the organizers announced that they have a joint project with Haribon Foundation called ‘Walk a Green Mile”.

So I went to Le Souffle that hot Saturday afternoon and met up with some of my blogger friends who, like me, wanted to spend their weekend doing something really productive and at the same time, exercise LOL. I was there as early as 3:00 (though I thought I was late ). I saw a lot of volunteers and kids who are willing to walk  and contribute something for the Haribon Foundation.

Playboy Philippines turns one!

Playboy Philippines was launched last year with beauty queen Priscilla M. on the cover. The publishers received a lot of criticisms, but they were able to prove that the magazine is not as “pornographic” as what others might think it is.

Last Friday, a number of bloggers were invited at Source Bar to celebrate their first year in the market. As expected, a lot of sexy models with the signature rabbit ears were being photographed by the bloggers.

STATUS AVAILABLE – Coz on this night, we are all SINGLES.

We all know that February 14 is Valentine’s day. Usually, couples do have a romantic date somewhere and those who have quarrels do kiss and make-up.

What about the individuals who are not in a relationship as the moment? What should they do on this day? Stay home and watch romantic DVDs? Sleep for 14 hours and eat 7 meals? Go online and plurk and plurk until your karma reaches 100?

Nah. Don’t do that. February 14 is also known as the “Single Awareness Day”. It is the day wherein one must appreciate the fact that he/she is single and is still ready to mingle with other unaattached people out there.

If I were you, I will attend the STATUS: AVAILABLE Party hosted by Ex-Ang TV Kid TJ Cruz. Ticket price for singles is Php 300. I heard that couples can still attend but they have to pay Php 500 per head.

Celebrating Christmas ’08 with the Belo Icons

Despite all the rumors coming out, the Belo Medical Group celebrated their Christmas party last December 19, 2008 at the Grand Ballroom of Crowne Plaza.

This is not your ordinary christmas party, i tell you. The employees of BMG including officers, doctors, facialists, support team members, doorman, utility men etc dressed up as their favorite music icon. Lots of prices were raffled off (waah sayang wala akong nakuha LOL).

Richard Gomez, Dra. Vicki Belo, Cristalle Henares and Darling de Vera

The Belo Christmas party is usually celebrated every two years due to its rigorious preparations (the events team were working on it as early as September!). Thank God the event turned out to be a great and happy one.

Meeting Paolo Contis

We’ve known Paolo Contis since he was introduced as one of the childstars of the afternoon tv show Ang TV. He made us laugh with his funny antics and made us cry with his drama skills. He became a popular child actor together with Patrick Garcia, Camille Pratts among others.

When he reached his teenage years, a lot of young stars were introduced by ABS-CBN (via Star Circle) but still, Paolo never ran out of projects. He appeared in comedy shows and was included in a number of movies.

We all know that he gained weight and he admitted several times that he didn’t get the roles he wnated because he is a bit chubby. Thanks to Dra. Vicki Belo and the Belo Medical Group for helping him gain his confidence by undergoing a liposuction procedure. We all know that in the Philippine entertainment industry, one needs to take good care of his physical looks to get more projects.

Abenson’s Glorietta 5 Holiday Sale

After eating Maki at Tokyo-Tokyo with Winston and waiting for Jehzlau to wake up, the three of us walked our way from People Support to Glorietta 5 for the opening of Abenson’s. The two demanded that I should wear slippers and so I did LOL.

Bloggers at the Abenson's Glorietta 5 opening

We arrived late at the event. I was happy to see some bloggers there who bought some of their much needed appliances with discount.

One of them is Billycoy, who bought a big, black and noisy toy called component. We were all excited as we witness him test the toy and finally sign some papers weeee
