Chat History BackUp Saves The Day

Technology. I have such strong love and hate relationship with it. Have you noticed how people rely too much on their gadgets to communicate or store files? As time goes by, the manual process of compiling files is slowly bidding farewell. From physical to digital, the transformation has its pros and cons.

One of the changes I observed from technology-dependent users is on how the panic when files get deleted by accident or some important chat conversations can’t be retrieved.

WeChat users have more reasons to cheer up due to the Chat History Backup feature. It saves chat conversation histories and for seven (7) days, you can restore them to any device.

What to do? The simple 3-step process of WeChat’s Chat History Backup starts with selecting “Settings” > “General” > “Chat History Backup” and then clicking “Back Up” for the conversations you’d like to store.

WeChat 5.2 introduces 6 New Features

Summer Break is almost here! Tons of festivals and events are being promoted and organized all over the country. It is one way for us to socialize and meet new people with similar interests in terms of sports, music preference, hobbies and more. I recently installed WeChat 5.2 on my phone due to peer pressure (since most of my friends are active users) and I’m impressed with the new features, which suits my social communications needs!

1. Menu Bar

– The WeChat 5.2 Menu Bar is now divided into three sections with a clean look: Chats, Discover and Contacts. The Chats tab lets users continue with current conversations. On the other hand, Discover allows one to start new conversations. The Contacts section easily takes you to your Moments feed as well as options including Scan QR Code, Shake, People Nearby, Drift Bottle, Games, and Sticker Shop.
