Two months ago, I blogged about ADRIFT, the debut music album of Alessandra de Rossi. For the past four years, Alex became visible on teleseryes and in some independent films. On her free time, she would meet up with some friends and collaborate with them to compose an original song. She is also active in uploading some demo tracks via YouTube and updates her Tumblr account with teaser images.

It is confirmed that Alessandra de Rossi will finally release her independently-produced music album entitled ‘Adrift’. Her first music video is finally out under the direction of Keith Sicad. The music video was shot in Ilocos Norte, which I feel is the perfect location for her type of music. I am more than excited to grab a copy of her album as it will be added in my roadtrip soundtrack collection.

I am hoping to attend the grand launch of Alessandra de Rossi’s album. I admire her courage and determination in this project, which was on hold for years. I miss her character as Bernadette in the teleserye ‘Legacy’ and I am not really sure if GMA-7 has plans of casting her in a soap opera soon. I have high hopes that her home network would help her promote her original music.

As for movies, I am excited for Sta. Nina, a Cinemalaya 2012 entry which also serves as her reunion project with former onscreen partner Coco Martin.
