Bloggers Fest 2011 @ Thunderbird Resorts Rizal
For the very first time, I stepped in together with 200+ bloggers in Thunderbird Resorts in Binangonan, Rizal. Last year, I was able to stay for three days and three nights at Thunderbird Resorts Poro Point in San Fernando, La Union. I enjoyed my stay in the Santorini-like resort that’s why when Azrael asked me if i can be a speaker to the Bloggers Fest 2011 event, i immediately said yes!

My topic for the Bloggers Fest 2011 is ‘Sharing Your Story Through Personal Blogging‘. It is a topic that I am comfortable with and to be honest, I created the slide a few hours before going to the bus pick-up point in Makati. I decided to keep it short and straightforward.
With me to the venue is my high school bestfriend Maire, whom i am pushing to be an active blogger since she writes well and she also takes good pictures. Sayang naman ang talent kung hindi mae-expose! I saw familiar faces in the pick-up point, but wow, there are so many newbies! It is a good sign for the Philippine Blogosphere. I think majority of them consider it as their first blog event ever. It means they really want to learn and explore on what’s out there.

He left the Philippines when he was about to turn thirteen years old. Today, he is celebrating his 16th birthday. I used to carry him at my back. Now, he is taller than me.

Although i didn’t witness his transformation into a teenager, it is no question that my brother Carlo will always be a baby to me My stay in the United Kingdom with him, my mom, Ate Virgie and the rest of the people I met taught me a lot of life lessons. Carlo’s biggest gift to me is his smile and sincerity. He may lack speaking skills, but he truly knows how to show his love to the people who matters to him.

Noon at Ngayon: The Evolution of Technology
Usong-uso ngayon sa social networking site na Twitter ang larong #NoonNgayon. Sa pamamagitan nito, nagpapalitan ng mga kuro-kuro ang ilan sa mga kababayan natin na inihahambing ang pagkakaiba ng ilan sa mga bagay na ating ginagamit o pamamaraan ng paggawa ng mga bagay-bagay noon sa ngayon. S’yempre, malaki ang kontribusyon ng teknolohiya rito. Obvious naman, ‘di ba?

Today is Mother’s Day in England. I remember buying an advanced mother’s day card in Card Factory a day before I left England last month. Wow. I realized just now that it’s been a month since I left UK!
Mama and Me in Cardiff
I miss my Mama Brenda. My decision to push through with the UK Trip late last year is something that I am really happy about. I did risk a number of things here in Manila just to embark on that trip and stay with my mom and brother for almost three months. My life there is occasionally boring (that is when my mom is at work and my brother is still in school LOL) but it is also life changing. I met some new friends there (mostly my mom’s friends too LOL) and even if it sounds a bit weird, i can say that i am already satisfied with a simple life.
