Sneak Preview of the Western Pangasinan Getaway

One of my dream projects as a blogger is to bring some of my blogger friends to Pangasinan, my beloved hometown. For months, there were attempts of organizing one, but due to the very long trip hours and lack of information, the plans never pushed through. Thanks to Anton (originally from Anda, Pangasinan) because he is my partner in organizing this trip. We had the same goal when finally we talked about the dream of organizing a Pangasinan Tour with blogger friends. Josh Uy is from Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan and he helped us out in terms of transportation :)

I am so happy because the dream trip finally pushed through! Last weekend, I together with Anton, Ada, Darwin, Estan, Robbie, Cai, Gael, Marky and Josh embarked on a very long trip to Pangasinan in order to explore, learn and enjoy our own Pangasinan experience. I didn’t really get the chance to enjoy Alaminos and Bolinao in the past that’s why i want this trip to push through. In my own opinion, this is quite different to my past group trips. Let’s just say that this is more personal to me :) It felt kinda weird especially when we were gallivanting in Dagupan City LOL :P

Writing the Right Stuff (Yet another random post)

Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen! I am here right now blogging live from my room at 6:35AM. I am not yet sleepy and i don’t have any plans of sleeping. My body wants to lie down and enter dreamland while my mind is telling me to write the right stuff in order to turn my dream into reality.

Playing with Words

I write for a living. I write for a tabloid, I write in my blogs and I write screenplays hoping to be recognized one day. I live because i write. I believe that it is the only medium i can freely express myself. I am not a ‘showy’ person and i am not even vocal in real life. I think i only have the power to make someone i love feel special when i write something about him/her.

I have a lot of draft posts found in my dashboard and i really can’t figure out why i can’t finish most of them. There’s a blog entry about my grandparents’ golden wedding anniversary, my future travel plans and other personal stuff. As much as possible, i would like to keep my Micamyx blog as personal as possible. I would like to put all travel-related posts in Senyorita, but i keep on going back here T_T. The funny thing there is i am the one imposing my own rules and i end up disappointing myself.

City of Dreams: Wishing that Everything was Real

Last April, me and the three of my girl friends went to Macau for a much-deserved weekend trip. We didn’t have any itinerary and the hotel was booked the last minute. We even had our own misadventure trip during our first night there but i’d rather not disclose it here for now. Pilitin n’yo ako at sasabihin ko LOL

I am currently uploading some photos taken during that trip while playing the song ‘Tracking Treasure Down’ (thus the title). I remember falling in love with Macau after we stepped out of the plane. I fell deeply in love when we started walking through the tall buildings with real cool lights. They’re enchanting and the cold weather somewhat made me feel like i’m in Europe or somewhere else.

The next day, we had the opportunity to gallivant and my favorite destination is the City of Dreams. We were able to catch the Bubble Show and it was really amazing. While looking at the pictures now, it made me remember how i felt while the show was ongoing.

On Family Trees and Family Portraits

Do you still remember what your Art (or PEHM, MAPE or GMRC) teacher required you to make as a school project? I bet one of which is the ‘Family Tree’, where what you need to do is cut your family members’ individual pictures and put it in a colorful paper and paste it in a branch. It’s up to you whether you like to add more glittery stuff or you want to add more colors. You are bound to unleash your creativity and make pasikat to your classmates.

Family Tree Project

One of the Family Tree Projects I made

Way back in Elementary, I was a bibbo student. Having a popular FM Disk Jockey as your father and a well-respected Nurse as a mother will make one kid proud. Having a cute baby brother also count.

I had a couple of school assignments wherein I am required to cut some family pictures and eventually tell a story about your home infront of the class. I often told my classmates that I am happy because my family is so intact. We often have out-of-town trips with other relatives. I remember going to Ilocos (Laoag, Vigan and Pagupud – before the place became a tourist destination), Batangas, Cagayan, Baguio, La Union, Zambales and other provinces. We only have a few pictures because we don’t really own one.
