Whenever there are seat sales or anything, the first place that pops in my mind is Cebu. There are many factors on why I keep on going back to Cebu and it’s becoming an addiction. Like what I mentioned in my previous post, my trip to Cebu last weekend is my 7th in one year.
So how did my solo trip to Cebu go? (Yes, solo flight again!). I took the earliest Cebu Pacific flight to Cebu last Friday and went straight to Crowne Garden Hotel to sleep. I woke up at around 1PM and went immediately to Ayala Mall Cebu to meet up with Tito Gerry. We went to Casa Verde for my late lunch (it’s his first time there LOL) and we were able to bond and talk about my great grandfather, who is a renowned doctor of leprosy here in the Philippines. Want to know who he is? Clue: Tala Leprosarium. We rarely had the chance to bond in the past family reunions. I’m happy that we were able to share stories and learn from each other. I originally planned to meet up with two more relatives of mine, but errr… they’re too busy. Maybe next time ^_^
I met up with my friends from Cebu Bloggers Society. Van and his bestfriend made my afternoon a bit more cool by treating me for Froyo :D. Bryan went with us too and he is now a Canon user π
Oh yeah, it was a holiday in Cebu when I arrived. In fact, Kapuso stars like Marian Rivera etc. were there at Ayala Mall thus causing the traffic. I booked an appointment with Belo Medical Group – Cebu Branch. For the first time, I tried their body scrub π
I went straight to IT Park and met up with Rabsin, X and Sinjin. We went to Cafe Shang for a Friday videoke session. I really had a blast that night and wow, I’m with very good singers! We even recorded a video of us four singing the usual Linggo ng Wika singing piece ‘Isang Lahi’ and ended the singing session with ‘Lupang Hinirang’. Mabuhay ang awiting Pinoy! π (Check Project52weeks.com soon for the full video hehe).
I woke up sorta late last Saturday. Be Resorts invited me to visit them for lunch (thanks to Ka Bino’s recommendation!) and I am impressed with the ‘straightforward’ approach of the resort. The fact that the booking that day was dominated by Koreans made me happy. I dunno, I am really happy seeing foreigners enjoying our resorts π Bryan and I also shot a short video which has something to do with playing the board game scrabble. Try to catch it on project52weeks soon π
I ate dinner at ΓΒ Tito Gerry’s house in Banawa. I should have devoted some of my time exploring Banawa! Spent the rest of the evening in IT Park where I finally tried Coffee Cat’s Green Tea Yogurt. I ended up consuming two cups LOL. Disturbed Doyzkie, Edd, Nayki and their team while they’re working there LOL. Prince, Clado, Mark and Jorich went there after an hour and we talked about random stuff (from blog issues to magic tricks to friends forever haha π )
I didn’t really have much activities planned for my Cebu trip because I went there with no concrete plans at all LOL but i had fun because spending the weekend your own way is quite fulfilling.
Again, thank you so much for my Cebu-based friends for the company! Don’t be surprised if you’d see me there making laag again soon LOL. Miss you all!
