Aileen and Jay - The Wedding Kiss is just the beginning...

I received the online invitation of the wedding two weeks before the wedding date. I’ve been wanting to finally see them tie the knot since they are two of the most admired individuals in the blogosphere and yes, the most admirable blogger couple.

The Old Screenplay

Six months ago, I turned one of my short screenplays into a short film. Before the production stage of The 12th of June, I secretly wished that Jade Lopez would agree to give life to the character of Eloisa, who is a virtual assistant who took a one week break from her hectic work at home (nah, she’s not a housemaid, but she works at home). We shot the 22 minute short film in 14 hours. The first part of the post-production somewhat made me feel hesitant to further continue with the whole film. Thanks to those who believed in the story of the film, I was able to complete the whole thing with flying colors.

The 12th of June Script and Storyboard

It’s been my dilemma for the past few days on which concept to shoot first. I have a number of ideas that I would like to write a screenplay for and eventually transform it into a short film. With the deadline I set for myself, I have to consider a lot of things – Schedule of my cast and crew, location, storyboard, equipments (camera, boom mic etc) and of course, the budget. It’s nice to have a lot of ideas in your minds, but the most challenging part there is to choose on which comes first or what concept to prioritize. If only I am a boss of a film outfit with tons of moolah – i’d probably produce a lot of short and full-length films.

MYX-ed Plans and Goals for 2010

I have three planners beside my laptop as I type this entry – one is the red 2009 Starbucks Planner that I used last year (which now acts as my mousepad), the 2010 Starbucks Planner (which I claimed before at the third week of November) and the 2010 Belle de Jour Planner I bought from Powerbooks last weekend. To be honest, I am still itching to get the 2010 This Journal Will Actually Change Someone’s Life because of the interesting holidays written in there and organized layout as I’ve seen in Jade’s house last month.

What are my Plans and Goals for 2010? May this planner help me.

What are my Plans and Goals for 2010? May this planner help me.

Too many planners, eh? I guess having a number of planners is perfectly fine as long as you use them. I decided to use the Belle de Jour Planner for appointments and important details and the Starbucks Planner for my expenses (i badly need this T_T).

What is the use of having a planner if you don’t really have any goals at all? Ano yan, display? Of course not :P I recently came up with a list of my Plans and Goals for the Year of the Tiger. I don’t really want to make a New Year’s Resolution since I tend to break them immediately. Maybe listing down your goals and plans for 2010 will be better, right?

Why I Will Never Forget 2009

Wow. It’s 2010 already? I can’t believe that I am now trying my very best to write a blog entry about 2009. I remember writing my 2008 Year Ender post the other year with some disappointments related to my career (Being jobless at Christmas Day gives you a week of weakness, I swear!). I thought it’s the end of the world for me (uhm, not really. I’m a fighter, baby!). I am happy to inform you though that I started 2009 with much enthusiasm and ended it with a big smile on my face.

January 2009 - Kuya Bunso Cast and Crew

January 2009 - Kuya Bunso Cast and Crew

It was in January where I finally decided to push through with my passion in film making. With the script I worked on during my stay at Sinelab, I managed to talk to some of my blogger friends to help me out with my first film entitled Kuya Bunso. With Jehzeel and Cai and the rest of the Nyoks, I did push through with my first film in a limited budget. I really can’t believe I was able to write, produce and direct the film. I wanted to join a short film festival that time, but I didn’t anticipate the fact that post-production is the most expensive and time-consuming part. My 24 minute debut film made me cry when i first saw it. I mean, yeah. I really cried T_T. I owned a new phone too and took a lot of camwhore pics with the nyoks. I bought a lot of domains that month which proved that i am an impulsive domain buyer lolz :P
